gself, a good reasonable argument. However I feel that we are in the risky end of businesses, the resources. A few of the big miners can look after themselves, the others will find it hard to get any financing or venture capital.
We are not out of the woods yet, we need the resource tax like we need a nail in our head.Once the world is more stable, perhaps we can think about it then. I do not think that now is the time though.I think it is better to have a broad base tax, so that not one single sector is penalised, just because they are doing well for the moment.
