I have a really good feeling about what's ahead for this company now.
I must admit the past needs to be wiped out of the memory bank. Its unfortunate as I really believed in the space MOT was in. In saying this, I still like the Lemon and Lime business and MOT still has this operating with great success. Will be interesting to see how this will fit into MOT's(ausbase Minerals)future plans.
Back to the asset. I'm hoping today's news will inform us to where the asset actually is. This has been the fact that we still don't know. I'm hoping its more than a so called 'green field' asset. Id like to see some past drilling results that will give us shareholders a bit more security and optimism for future exploration success ahead.
I have really warmed to the new team running the company now. It looks like they have a plan. They have taken all the right steps thus far. They are slowly building a team that will resemble a mining company structure. They have a geo on board who I'm told is a geo for the love of the job and not the possible financial/lurks and perks that come with it! I've also been told that these guys wont waste $1 if they dont have to. I was overly relieved and impressed by this.
As loyal as I've been, I'm giving this new team 12 months to show me what they are made of. If the past 2 months are an indication of the new team's direction, then I predict we are in for a very conservative/rewarding time.
So I'm officially deeming today as being the birth of a new Mining/Exploration company.
