Date 2/10/2007 Author Peter Klinger Source The West Australian -- Page: 40 Queensland explorer Innamincka Petroleum has told the market it has found one of the largest onshore oil fields in Australia. The company said the field in the Cooper Basin could contain 120 million barrels of oil. Innamincka has discovered that its Flax and Juniper discoveries are connected, and noted that flow rates from all four Flax wells exceed what is required for commercial production. Shares in the company rose by $A1.10 to $A1.49 on 1 October 2007.
