    Calik Holdings (1) one of the largest Corporations in Turkey and in particular the Chairman Ahmet Chalik(2) are the key to Alacer Gold's progress in Turkey via their Mining Subsidiary Lidya Madencilik (3) who own 20% of Copler and 50% of Gediktepe.

    The Chalik Family are closely associated with the Turkish Government and look like they have some mighty pull in many sectors including mining.
