Col, I don’t know about a six month cycle, but I do see a pattern where POG sells off in anticipation of any Fed rate hike, then buys the reality (ie opposite of sell the news) - I have previously posted a few POG charts with Fed rate hikes shown, there haven’t been too many so easy to verify in any case if you can’t find them, I might do another one in June when they hike again... another month of POG weakness is quite possible in absence of any geopolitical catalyst, (who would have thought Trump and FatBoy were candidates for a Nobel Peace Prize ) so maybe your $1280 you’ve been calling since Jan will finally get hit ! USD will be strengthening at same time.
