Heavy duty battery powered gear has been used by tradesmen for years , drills for tech screws, ordinary screws, hammer drills , screwdrivers, reciprocating saws, jigsaws, multitools , hand planers , electric nail guns, radios and even skilsaws for smaller work...it's hard to find an electric cord on a construction site these days they are used mainly for bench and sliding saws or where mains power has some advantages.
Like everthing you get what you pay for....
