Hi Adam, afraid so mate. Over the years Silver has had the kiss of death as far as I'm concerned.
It began with MNM who were taken over by AYN and you know the unfolding story there.
This was followed by Cobar Consolidated Resources which initially looked good, even getting into
production, but fell in a heap and bought by Southern Cross who have since changed their name to
Black Oak, BOK. Recent reports from BOK look good but I bailed out a few weeks back and moved on.
SVL also looked good at the start and we accumulated a nice holding however once they started looking
at opportunities overseas and the dwindling cash position it was a case of here we go again.
Have kept up a constant flow of enquiries to Charles Straw but just the usual feedback, like still trying ?
Because of their trading halt/did not lodge half yearly report/delisting it means we cannot sell what we hold
so guess its a case of wait and see. GLTY. H.
