re: is it time to take profit ? Its run hard, the economic news due out in January in my view will show continuing heavy losses.
A significant drop in subscriber numbers will also be released, however these are mainly prepaids that have not been used, and do not affect revenue. However the headline could look bad.

My gut feel is this maybe the last 6 month report to show a net loss of customers

Vodafone are clearly beginning to turn the ship around.
Handset subsidies come at a high cost in the first year to win back customers.

It appears to me that Vodafone have got to the point where they will become a viable third carrier again.

I personally think that the current share price is a bit ahead of itself and the likely financial bad news in January could trigger a pretty significant price drop.

Longer term, they have probably stopped the bleeding of customers, but now the cost of handset subsidies to win customers back will have its financial burden.

Over the course of 24 months the mobile plans should bring real revenue, but in the first 12 months they will show up as a cost.

Structurally I think the company is fixed.... But the red ink will continue due to a massive lag between new customers, and profitability.

Personally feel its a time to take profits with a view to buy post 6 month report
