I see what you mean - medco put indo coal at 20mmbtu/tonne -> at 40% implies 3.6cents/kwh.

It seems to suggest, despite the chinese efforts, a glut in thermal coal supply hence low prices otherwise coal should be pegging to gas. Is just because the coal plants are being offered to the wesm while in reality the "real" average price is much higher due to gas plants with higher fuel costs not being dispatched via the market and renewables with no fuel cost?
there appears to be a disconnect between the spot and average prices. Must EWC set up a marketing company?
