I agree it sometimes is crazy, the point I am making is that on timing and expenditures - in my view - BCL/BML/Volpe are steady as she goes, and in no way slow( and in no way overspending) relative to many other developments. In fact they are fast tracking Maibele North, and the current Takane exploration stage.

I simply do not see BCL stuffing around the area for a couple million tonne resource. As we all know within the general area up north is Tati and Selkirk with massive tonnages, whilst down is Selebi P with 175m tonnes taken out already. Perhaps Takane will follow as a part of a 'cluster' of big deposits....who knows? BCL more than likely are chasing this type of deposit.
Refer again to Rio: "As Tier 1 resources are often found in clusters, this provides another reason why the brownfield environment offers the easiest opportunity for creating value through exploration." http://www.riotinto.com/documents/ReportsPublications/corpPub_Exploration.pdf

I also want to make it clear I am not suggesting BCL etc. are in the same class as Rio Tinto, but there is no reason BCL, even BML, experienced staff would not employ the same well proven principals in
their mineral search. BCL have been in Takane years ago. I think it was Flyboy pointed out that there have been huge strides in exploration techniques since then: why are they back there spending money now??? I doubt they like to waste time flogging a dead horse.

We will watch with interest how this plays out.
