Just wondered if anyone out there has insight into the (apparently dated)  15/7/16 edition of "The Business Weekly and Review", article and front page apparently headed "Finished and Klaar" with a pic of sombre looking Dan Mahupela? On facebook too.
I cannot open it  beyond the header.

Basically it purports to announce the demise of BCL, loss of 4000 jobs and collapse of Selebi Phikwe. I assume since no other papers I have seen are running the story it may be overdone....one would hope so, but has anyone got a clearer picture of situation?

Perhaps they are concentrating on the new projects at the expense of the old, but since the smelter is at Selebi that makes little sense.

Since I post the good stuff I feel compelled to at least raise this one since it has come to my notice. Cannot see the Bots govt turning it's back on BCL, especially given the improved Ni/Cu prices, but perhaps they are wanting to shake up management? Any real info would be appreciated.
