The authorities have zero interest in levelling the playing field.
The 'speeding tickets' are just a nonsense. They allow shorting (I 'borrowed' someone's shares), they allow bot trades of 1 share at a time which is a joke.....someone buys 150,000 shares at X price, then Mr Bot who wants the SP to stay where it is trades 1 share and dumps the SP back to the start line. What a farce. The brokers get everything they want and more....how? What do the authorities get in return(?)
