David, my opinion only but I think it is pure manipulation by smarter players that have been accumulating at those lower prices and when they are happy with their short term or even longer term gains they will offload and cause retracements and if those retracements come back down on light volume and look bullish I'll short term trade it
P.S. also I don't thing the smarter players really care about FA they are here only to manipulate and make money
