distef Makes one wonder what the game is??? VBA is in a far better position than 6 months ago- it has JB in the cock pit, has stated that non viable routes will cease, the business sector will be targeted for valued added and the alliance with Air NZ(which IMO is the most important). The pump on the 21st Jan finished the day lower than the opening. Not saying it should have pumped on and on but at least a 45 closing would not have been unreasonable. Now bled back down to 40??? Usually cheap airlines that enter the market disappear as fast as they come. They give the impression of competition and then get forced out of the sky due to lack of economic viability. VBA was reslient and the Air NZ alliance will be intersting to say the least. My opinion is that the sideways SP movement is 'due' for a turn. Did traders buy on the ANZ ann to pocket a 10% loss in a few days? Were they ALL gullible?
