but..

if maquarie buys Allco, would it make sense to eventually wind up these rubcion property trust vehicles and pay proceeds back to shareholders? Wouldn't this realise far more value than where they are trading at? Or perhaps are there Macquarie funds that the assets can slot into?

I guess they get fees from managing rubicon trusts but these trusts are so on the nose are the fees worth it? The rubicon trusts just give everyone associated with it a bad name and reputation and image is worth quite a bit in this space..
