I have been thinking that it's time for the collections brought in by management to include a 'rare' collectable figure. Something along the lines of a 1/1000 collectable item. Not only could this be used for marketing but it will spur on more purchases and more discussion regarding collections.

There has already been an Australian yowie collectors group formed on Facebook but I bet this would increase 10 fold if a rare item was brought in. This is part of what made Pokemon cards (rare shiny charizard), Pokemon go (rare Pokemon), AFL cards (caricatures cards), the list goes on. This would especially spark the American crowd who are huge on collecting. I don't think this has any negative downfalls at all and I know Cadbury when they owned yowie released a very rare golden yowie.

I can't see any reason not to start this immediately.

On a side note, what is going on with marketing? We had that one good yard sale video, where are the other advertisements? We have 40 mill plus in the bank why not put some of it to use?
