And to round out the evening of snooping the UK OEX threads, here's some weekend reading (same source as above). Oh, I should mention, their thread starts at the bottom and builds it's way upwards, the latest being on top - the opposite of HC:

The pressures are far too high to have no oil/gas bearing in mind they had to flare some gas with 76H and wire line logs found the same intervals in drilling 77H just 300m away.If the plugs come away cleanly, and no equipment is left stuck in the well, I'm confident the flows will be commercial - the question is how much gas/condensate will flow when cleaned up.I expect some news early next week as, if the flows are good, a lot of the frac fluid in the way will be pushed out very quickly with 5,000 psi pressure of gas/condensate behind it.They will certainly have taken each plug out carefully, and flowed frac fluid and sand up until reasonably clear before moving on to the next plug. It's not clear how much cleaning fluid will be needed...I will HOLD until we have news, which I certainly hope will be good and enable a re-rating upwards. Commercial rates will see many rampers come onboard for a few days, looking to take immediate profits before they move on to their next target with volatile share prices. 20p would be a nice support position, although I still worry about dilution should OEX have another large equity share placement without giving PIs the opportunity to top-up at the same price (which ZOX and FDI did).

I agree with you Alf, my faith in these has been low since Oman and Indonesia, but I thought there may have been a change, what with new personnel and better contractors, but we still got a glitch. You are right about it possibly changeing rapidly if something good comes along, but if this drill somehow fails i will be out big time, i will not wait for Canning,The optomism I had at the beginning of this drill is slowly seeping away.

In fairness Mr NIEVE, your faith in these has always been very low. Yet there remains an option to prove 37m Oil & 220m Gas at decent flow rates. Proof has to come to us every step of the way. The one we're waiting on now is that the plugs are out safely / cleanly. We expect this done by the W/E. Any problems here & the SP dips. No problems and we are on to testing. So who knows where we're at? Chart suggests a delay of some kind. But I think if anyone knew for sure the volumes & SP reaction would be higher. Right now the safe bet is probably to de-risk and sell until positive proof / news. But things can change rapidly with this one, so for my part I'm just going to hold & wait. Depending on how far it dips & why I'll probably buy more. Biggest risk is that there is not as much Oil/Gas as they thought, or it does not flow in sufficient quantities. Only testing will tell.

I too am beginning to doubt the results of this drill, if it had been better than fair, I think some rumours would have come out.Either they are doing very well with security of information or this is not as good as Oilex is spinning it.I hope not, but my faith in these is low.

Agree. Even then we will get penalised due to the low SP I think. I would feel appeased at 20p+ but I'm not certain we are going to see this in Agust (assuming ok).......

Nothing seems to have any effect on Oilex does it.I think only the news that the test is flowing with 20,000 barrels a day would do anything to it.It has been so badly damaged by the past its unbelievable.
