Sorry to bang on about Rio but if anyone reading today's financial review take a look at "Rio's billion dollar dissapointment" goes into Rio's copper assets. They are spending 5.5 billion in Mongolia but it seems to be the only bright spot. Bingham canyon in U.S coming to the end of its life, and some talk from J.S about walking away from Freeport in Indo. That leaves Escondida which Rio has 30% stake in, obviously halted with strikes at the moment, but still best mine in the world.

Last year Rio derived 0 earnings from copper and minerals. 0 and J.S is starting to get grilled.

They are running the gauntlet if they wait for a pullback which doesn't come.
