I have just read your HotCopper post on DGR of yesterday, Mon 28 Nov 2016.

Waiken, Gantz quoted Oyu Tolgoi stake of 51% bought by Rio to be $3 billion without takeover premium. If one were to use simple maths to aggregate it to 100% say, simple maths, it would equate to roughly to $6 billion region.
Bob Moriarity, President of 321 Gold quoted $645.8billion for 10bt of mineralised copper gold at the Solgold PDAC Presentation figures given. From recall, it is 1.4% Cu Equiv. Please check

It was stated:"Today, judged by their market valaues, explorers with minerals in the ground will be lucky to have their "asset" valued at more than 1-2% of that accorded by mineral market price. Five years ago, it might have been 5-7% or even 10%."
So if we take Moriarity*s figure of $645.8 billion for the total 10bt of mineralised rock as per Solgold PDAC Presentation and we take the conservative [my preference] of 1%, simple maths gives us $6.458billion.
CONSENSUS
So Father Ted, your latest figures matches all the figures quoted of $6 billion roughly. So, there is now consensus. However, I also have to add an imperative IF, all goes well.

Again, consensus reached. Only I feel that when the copper market is in supply deficit or entering into etc, then the situation also will help. Again, IF.
Conclusion:
What is very healthy to see is open discussion and always encouraging that consensus is reached.
Also very ethical that this forum has made clear the reality as opposed to conjecture without basis or backup. Everything is discussed openly and via development synopsis from factual info so that one can see how the figures stack up or not.
Again, it all depends on how Solgold will progress Cascabel and therefore, a range has to be taken in. Shareholders are not privy to information except from public sources of information, publications and empiricial. So a model and hypothesis.
