I wasn't expecting that kind of update, thanks for your opinion (you sound like your not 100% on it but it does make sense), i'll check the announcement detail as i thought it looked like they were buying from individual companies rather than a variety of retail investors.

So if i buy elm shares today (meaning i do not get the option to accept the offer at this stage) where would that leave me on 21st Nov & could the person tgat sold them to me have taken the sell option recently offered in the post.

Your suggestion does not sound possible, what is the exact offer made in the post? I was not an elm holder at the time of the offering being made.
