Oh dear, if true that is another 84 mmt tonne drop on top of the already 50mmt drop. That would represent a dip in just corn tonnes of over 130mmt.
To put this into perspective, Australia would take 5 average production years to produce that amount of grain. Or it is 50% bigger than India's total wheat crop of 80mmt.
And this is not taking into account the effect on the US soybean and wheat crops!
The floor is in place for a sustained bull run in agricultural markets for a number of years.
