I think everyone is right , or at least partly right . And that is because this is a very complex situation . All parties have their own agenda , and not always what they are saying amounts to the truth . Many countries in the middle east are sworn enemies of the Saudis and have sworn to bring down the house of Saud . These vendettas last for a thousand years , and will continue long after the oil runs out . The one common denominator is 'money ' they all need money and lots of it . And the only way to get it is to raise the oil price . I do believe Russia has the upper hand , and is the military power in the middle east , and they need the money more than anyone . So there will be a lot of rhetoric and posturing , but in the end I believe the oil price will rise a lot higher than anyone thinks , at least for a while !!
