This is from Argonaut's morning note of today: The London Metal Exchange’s 3-month copper contract traded higher Friday, jumping 0.71% to close at $7,233/t.

The future of copper is of course secure. That observation (fact) coupled with the price having risen from its slumber and now on the ascension, should mean that copper plays start getting more attention. It's slowly sinking in with some minds, but the continuing excitement with lithium and cobalt with many punters has meant that copper has taken a back seat with them.
