    I am with you Boomer!

Remember when we (PGL) had a first in class wonder drug.(PI88)in Ph3. It did not fail.....the trial just did not get off the ground. A risk that few of us gave a thought to.

We hung our hat and cash on that believing all the spin because ultimately it was going to increase our wealth AND have a positive humanitarian effect on the lives of liver cancer sufferers around the world.

I think the AVX board line that "no HIV drug which has made it to Ph3 has ever failed".....it shows their naivety because it means NOTHING!! A BIG FAT NOTHING. Not even AVX holders should fall for such a shallow spin.

It has NO bearing on risk associated with ATC OR their ability (should it succeed) to commercialize it.

The BIG BIG question is .....why has it NOT been taken up by a big pharma.

The AVX board say they have been talking to 'big pharma'....so did ours! Time indicates that BP are not interested.

    Quite frankly neither am I.

If, in fact, the PGL board have had HIV look at ATC.....so what?

Oncologists all over were really happy with PI88.

The science may/may not be good, but if you do not have board and management with enough experience and skills to take the thing forward it ain't worth a cent!

I think our only salvation, albeit minor and painful, is that the merger is defeated and the board honor their commitment to return $1.10 p/s to us.

And hope we have all learned a valuable lesson from the experience.
