Margin loans are not necessarily bad or evil. And if structured correctly can be very helpful, particularly in environments over the past 6 months.
The problem is that they were easily given to the herd and they ran with it. Once the weeding and forced selling stops by these overleveged types...which will take time, it will be ok. Panic or obsessing of the fear, really does no good.
