1. Do you know if the backroad from Mungana to Mount Garnet can or if it is used to truck ore or do they have to still leg it via Herberton past Baal Gammon etc.?
2. Is is possible to build such a road in the future? Seen any council plans before?
4. Have you ever driven from Mt Garnet to Balcooma South/Dry River? What's the road like. In particular - the cross from Highway 1 into road 62.
It's a bit hard to glean the info from the Dept. of Transport website and I guess this is why the Mungana plant was 3/4 built in the first place, road problems.
@ KingKev - may also know...I think he's in Cairns too.
I'm just curious about the road/infrastructure situation. Raod 63 to Charters might be due for an upgrade soon.
