I did see MON as a riskier investment. The fact that it was being run by a supposedly competant and highly regarded group of people was what enticed a lot of people to invest. Not having had any experience with MK run operations before I can only guess that he must have got very lucky with his earlier ventures beacuase he certainly didn't plan this one out.
