Huge demand in China for gas as well until rollout complete on solar and wind, and nuclear fusion by 2050. Just saw a documentary on ITER which is a bureaucratic mess, and locked into an inferior generation model which most likely won't be scalable as it is far too complex and expensive to roll out even if they can maintain a plasma. Many smaller scale alternatives are more likely going to succeed. Gas powered power stations and lithium powered batteries will be hugely relevant till at least 2050 for base-load power and transport respectively. Investing in both is a wise decision till then.
