I want to contest a foolish failure of logic being passed around here as an objective fact.
It runs something like, the BoD of CTP has mismanaged business opportunities. Evidence: the SP has gone down.
I invite all to think a little harder. CTP has accumulated useful and attractive gas assets - mostly under RC's leadership. Their stranded-without-customer status is about to change when the NGP and Tamani pipes begin drawing CTP gas next Christmas. Again, RC has been instrumental in achieving this.
20/20 hindsight is not a tool; history is a foreign country. I am sure RC would act a little differently if he could do it all again - but not a lot differently.
I challenge holders to compare the meagre talents they reveal in their comments to his strategic skills and panoramic knowledge of the gas industry.
He may well walk away from this headache - and who could blame him. It will be shareholders who suffer if he does.
The imminent quarterly report should be studied with care.
