I am a little bemused by the call for 'informative timely shareholder communication'.

In the past, Richard Cottee has been a stellar communicator who made CTP seem a bigger business than it is.

Many long-term holders, habituated to him popping up in the business media with interesting things to say, are bewildered by his seeming current reticence.

Why is RC silent?

I think it is because he has nothing fresh to add to the clearly outlined program of works that is now underway. He cannot re-announce - only politicians indulge in that nonsense. The ASX would be most unimpressed if he did. The strategy and projects are out there in recent presentations. Go reread them if desired.

Those nursing losses and pain need to get a grip. You have invested in a high-risk high-reward business. It could dribble away to nothing or be a great success. We don't know; RC doesn't know.

Any change in communications strategy will be revealed by the language in and format of the quarterly report due any day. (last year, 27 Jan)
