To clear up a typo in my post,

The Japanese underwent a "golf club" membership bubble. Amazing how they felt they were "different" from the West, yet when the green-eyed monster engulfed society, it was a bubble we could only dream of here.

Simply a fantastic book, and I rate it right up there with the all-time classic One Up On Wall Street by Peter Lynch, which even dealing with blue chips dishes out enough commonsense to keep speculators interested.
