Think one of the most telling points in my discussion, as per referenced by Sentia717's comment above, was AM thinking that comms were good because the big boys were in the loop.
Hopefully recent discussions has made him realise otherwise and we'll see a change in tact (e.g. more relevant, consistent comms, more regularly).
I've pinged him again tonight letting him know that the information he provided me has been well received (and note that I obviously have not posted anything that he felt was market sensitive).
This positive affirmation will hopefully only support a change in the companies communication approach.
And as for the possums - well I don't want to offend any possum lovers (note they are an absolute pest in NZ) so best I don't talk about what a Benelli M2 shotgun does to one of those annoying tree bears ;-)
And it is probably worth mentioning that I'm almost back in Cambodia where I have an export business so can completely relate to the absolute nightmares that can and do often occur whilst trying to do business in SE Asia. When AM mentioned that the land deal was held up because some guy was getting done for possible corruption I had to laugh as it is almost a daily occurrence in Cambodia.
But that's the joy of investing in a company of this nature and at times you just have to roll with the punches.
Here's to some stella seismic results from the NW this side of Christmas as the team at Quest sound very positive - just a shame the communications confused rather than created a sense of excitement...
