a) the key managament is still in place
b) magna has been profitable, and still is
c) DES management arent interfering in day to day

So, unless you feel that it is Magna management that dont have a clue, I still think that Magna was and is a strong acquisition for DES.

They will have some flops - no doubt, but thats the movie industry.

Im not up to date with the Lionsgate arrangement - this will be a blow, as I heard that Lionsgate was setting up an Australian office to handle their own distribution, after their takeover was spurned.

Would be useful to know what % of historical revenue (and profits) was attributable to Lionsgate via Magna
