This forum discusses all aspects of DES business - good, bad and indifferent .........surely?

DES as 20% holder of QFX, the potential for negative impact on DES should be discussed.

DES doesnt control QFX, it wont see any dividend for years (in fact, the "hat" is about to come again for another raising), the SP in QFX has declined, its value to DES as a "community" is as vapid as the "portal" argument has become - and Lachlan Murdoch got in, took a look, and got out - what does that tell us?

DES now doesn't even have board representation, so it has zero influence, in what is a passive, declining and potentially costly enterprise. DES doesnt even generate any (or perhaps totally insubstantial), inter company trading - so, what is the point?

The QFX holding just doesnt make any sense for DES.

This may be the only forum which shareholders can share their concerns with DES management and other shareholders.

I continue to hold and acquire DES, but have concerns with this.

As a DES holder, but not a QFX holder, this is the forum to vent concerns.
