Really interesting to see and hear the neurosurgeons speak about how the device will be useful. Obviously the zeiss people are right onto what "problem" the device solves and are directing their marketing videos accordingly. Pardon my ignorance but I had thought the device's main advantage would be that it enabled for a digital biopsy. These guys seem to be talking about a different advantage but definitely one that would be important.

from the last announcement: FDA clearance in the first bit of 2018. I guess zeiss would not be launching it if they did not feel very comfortable that the hurdles have been jumped in terms of fda clearance.
