I thought I would give a synopsis of where Senex is at the moment.

Firstly,  world oil consumption is set to increase. Many people disagree. They think the world is about to convert to gas, electric vehicles, solar and wind. Which is happening but it won't be until after 2030 that oil consumption may fall.

Secondly, the geopolitics in the world are very hard to fathom. In the mix you have a very disturbing Venezuelan situation with many sides wanting a piece of the action. Read Russian loans, Chinese loans, USA sanctions and horrific internal haemoraging. It is a situation that is dire. Add in the forthcoming USA sanctions against Iran. Plus Libya is far from settled.

Thirdly, USA shale has been hailed as  being the best thing since sliced bread .It is a ponzi about to be exposed. Already the experts in the field  ( e.g. Schulmberger ) are forecasting problems in the shale patch. Alice in wonderland stuff.

Fourthly, Investment in oil exploration is improving slightly but nowhere near enough to cope with dwindling conventional production and a forthcoming slowdown in shale. We currently consume 30 billion barrels of oil per annum and find about 6. The world runs on oil.  Recently I read that 80 % of the world population has not yet flown. Aviation consumes nearly 9% of daily oil production.

Fifthly, LNG consumption is set to explode. I mentioned this years ago. The golden age of gas is well on its way.  The smog problems in China and India are killing more than 700,000 per annum.  Any company involved in gas production is going to prosper. Read Slugcatcher's  report yesterday re the Aussie market.

Senex is a long term growth company capable of quadrupling its production within the next 3 years  through GAS investment. And when that happens dividends will be paid. They have had this planned for over 6 years. Sooner or later they will reap their considerable investment.

    Australia is short on gas.
