SXY got the BPT treatment good and proper today, while BPT stabilised. Like to know anyone else’s ideas on what it all means. I’m certain it’s not the POO, which is directionless. SXY got oversold below B.Band and closed on 30c support, so it may recover from here, but it’s not oversold on RSI, so it might not and watch that damn gap!
Wine, the PSAR was just a generalisation (and for very ST trading) and I certainly use the MACD and longer timeframe MAs, but what I tend to think is that you never know where the top of an uptrend is going to be until after it’s happened. The same applies to all those so called bottom pickers who are just catching falling knives - if only they would wait for the bottom to be in, they would always buy it on the way up.
The most bullish thing I can say is the ID bashing is ramping up again and last time, that took SXY from these levels to 50c, so you never know your luck .
