It was just so far from what most people here expected because people like you had set very unrealistic expectations prior. You did nobody any favours then. I did warn about the possibility at the time but that just wasnt on your radar. I have been through thirty years of IT vendor chip releases, and that happening is just quite a common reality on first silicon. But you wont even countenance it as a reality. That's the really bad thing.
Now why you havent questioned the "working wafers" statement at the last announcement. Wafers dont work, chips and cells do. I expect they have working cells on the wafer, can they get working chips? That is what I am waiting for confirmation on. The last announcement from 4DS was naff when it could easily have been sensible instead. Hopefully its all a go. If its just cells, that's good too, it means the reram works, just not to scale yet.
I also expected you to stop reading. Your over the top confirmation bias is evident in everything you say.

Message to Wikipedia: new definition of "wafer failure" required! If jsbuser says a wafer has "failed" then it must be so. Regardless of the complete absence of ANY supporting facts.
jsb, your 15 minutes of fame now absolutely guaranteed. But please don't change with your new notoriety. That negative bias really suits you.
