Just to clear up and confusion or misinterpretation from the answers in the Q&A, I received an email from Dave late last night,

"Just had a quick look and seems like at least one response has been misinterpreted.

The frac engineers did not make ANY recommendation - vertical or horizontal. So we did not pay for advice and then ignore it. Their job was to design the frac and locate the perfs not determine strategy for evaluation in relation to the well completion / design. That was a joint decision between the "Joint" Venture parties.

No blame was laid in any way, shape or form. Especially as we do not believe we have failed.

Paul would often quote Edison who famously said (prior to inventing the light bulb) "I have not failed - I have just found 10,000 ways that do not work."

This business is about conviction and perseverance. It is not for the thin skinned or weak willed. Hopefully it won't take that many goes to get it right...! "
