Incidentally, as I understand it, the September 20 deadline is not necessarily about just going into some temporary suspension, it's about being de-listed and removed from the ASX all together.

In my opinion, there is simply no way that PVD would wade in with one of their own and at the same time, spend hundreds of thousands of dollars taking a majority stake, if it were all about to go tits up, in a matter of days.
