Cooper's move to gas paying off
COOPER Energy said today its record result for 2017-18 reflect a strong first full year for its gas business with net profit for the year ending June 30 standing at A$27 million, up from a loss of $12.3 million the same time last year.

Santos adds fourth rig for 90 well Cooper target
SANTOS said today a fourth rig has begun operations in the Cooper Basin and will drill eight wells by the end of the year, bringing the Adelaide oiler to a total of 90 wells in the prolific basin and setting a four year record.
