Its not a non issue! The fact of the matter is Myrtle Rust came to Australia from South America!! Heat is no barrier to rust, a lack of suitable hosts is. There are suitable hosts all over Australia in the bush. The outbreak on the East Coast has spread from Queensland to Melbourne in under 2 years ... that is lightning quick.
