Hey Conman, that's one of the oldest cons in the book - demonstrate correlation and claim causation.
IMO it is more a case of the POS that is driving the silver miners at the moment. If anything, I think the USD/AUD rate has more a moderating effect on the PoS in AUD, as the theory is that increased buying of commodities creates further strength in the AUD.
