PRZ report reads that MTN "...have conducted an extensive gravity and calcrete sampling surveys over the Warburton tenements and this data is currently being assessed...". MTN annual report appears to confirm this, which would indicate that MTN are progressing work on this project. I thought that MTN's major interest was Uranium, but in their report they mentioned "nickel and other commodities" when reporting on the Warburton project. Nickel? And Uranium not even mentioned? Interesting.
Another observation, which got me thinking, was from MTN Rights Issue Announcement. There is no mention of Warburton: "...Funds raised from the Offer will also be used to: fund the further exploration and, if warranted, development of Marathon’s other mining tenements, including its highly prospective copper-gold-uranium properties in the Gawler Craton in South Australia and its other gold and copper-gold projects in South Australia and Victoria...". With WA not mentioned, does this mean that they will not be progressing the Warburton project? Would it mean that the result thus far have not been incouraging? Or is this an oversight or just me not reading it correctly?
Any thoughts?
