Australia has one of the biggest deposits of brown coal in the world and India and China are showing no interest in getting access to some of that coal?

I suppose Asia has enough coal and the more expensive black coal producers in Australia will remain in the drivers seat?

Why would they want cleaner coal/fuel and hundreds of years supply at that?

Tata and Shanghai Electric keep talking export but maybe I misunderstood the articles.

SP3, If what you say is correct...

What if DICE works well and this cleaner base load energy/power starts to make regular power stations obsolete? Where will ESI get the free heat from? Who will want their tech?

DICE will be cleaner than the current power stations and it has the benefit of being ramped up and down depending on power demand?

So, during a hot summers days solar can be a larger source of power and there will be no need to run the large scale power stations which cannot be ramped up and down like DICE?

DICE seems like a better fit in order to benefit from other renewable energies and have a secure cheap clean base load power when needed.

Last thing, If ESI just intends to supply the LV power stations and not export, don't you think it would have been great if ESI had their own coal??

Seems like the power stations will have lots of bargaining power with access to the heat and coal? All ESI has is a TECH and their are lots of other techs around who will also be competing for the business?
