What I can't work out is why Exergen through CAG don't take advantage of announcing things in the way ECT do.

Exergen have a board member on the Prime Minister's advisory committee and another who is very tightly within the DICE network after initially starting the CSIRO on its course to develop DICE in the first place.

Why don't they use their position with CAG to promote such things?

I guess they don't have an upcoming AGM or a vwap to worry about. They also no doubt realise that only a small portion of the ERF will be spent on any coal related projects, with the bulk already apparently earmarked for soil and tree related CO2 projects.

They probably also realise that Minister Hunt has already come out and said that DICE will likely be first project funded, which is far more relevant than simply offering an opinion on the direction ERF should follow.
