Obes, what don't you understand about the nation's and more specifically Greg Hunt's emissions reductions target??

The 5% figure is the whole of the nations emissions as a reduction on the figure of emissions produced in year 2000.

To get to that figure Greg Hunt is proposing to cut emissions in the LV by 50% to allow emissions elsewhere in the country ( e.g. Farming, personal car use, air travel) to carry on business as usual.

No one in this government is going to consider throwing taxpayers dollars at a project that is going to reduce emissions in the LV by as little as 5%. Let alone 25% Obes!

With the governments own scientists claiming they can reduce emissions by 50% then the government has a new goal post. If your tech can't aim for that new goalpost then you are on your own- not taxpayers dollars for inferior techs.
