My day job is within the planning ,programming , costing and up to pre-commissioning and start up on power plants; mines; O&G compressor stations, renewables....don't be taken in by links and dates particulary when stories and timelines have been spruiked and been and gone in the past.

Even your RF Cambrian flier with the 2014 demo plant commencement is going to run over. These thing take considerable time; it's not just a case of building the thing; there's many many factors involved.... Impossible is the word of the day again josimar.

It's important IMO not to believe something just because someone shows you a link....we had a link that blooms posted , which found itself popping up on the other thread by S/chicken a week or so ago ; it was a geohart consulting geotech with reference to deep shafts that had been bored....it got a rapturous applause of the mantle thread no doubt ....unfortunately that report was for ore body areas such as Mt ISA and also Olympic dam and a gold mine in Ballarat ..... Open and deep shaft mining occur on all of those locations ... A world away from lignite and aquifer substrate Josimar....that link had no place in promoting deep shaft drilling in LV.....

IMO it's important to be really aware of what those links say , mean, are in reference to and if they sound like pie in the sky..... Thank god they had independent assessors for the ALDP nit picking and not a load of HC tit for tat shouters
