Blooms; if you are trying to imply that the Victorian power supply is going to undergo such a bi pass within the next decade leaving DICE as the beating heart of Victorian power supply...well IMO you are living in la la land; do you honestly think that they can intergrate DICE into the current system in such a short period of time??? Greg's 'Clean up not shut down' comment....well he obviously had one to many if that's what you are saying.....

I say it's probably more to do with the like of the 'LY & Yallourn' drying comment as an example and the likes of the carbon 'carbon reduction agreement' with Aloca which consumes 50% of LYs output as another and other roll on's as opposed to a specific finger pointing 'DICE' within the decade...there's lots of little footprints out there blooms

DICE would need to be far more advanced than it is...

Independently standing DICE power plants would need to be constructed whilst still running and maintaining the likes of LY and the other burners;then the decommissioning whilst still maintaining baseload of the burners ; tying in and commissioning of DICE.......Blooms the planning alone would take years....DICE would also need to be years ahead of where it is today......they haven't even sorted out their feedstock yet : /
