Becuse those people who bought within the last few days will not get priority in the Zinc Co float. You must have bought before Tuesday to qualify for a guaranteed entitlement.

In effect, the shares went ex-rights on Tuesday which was before the announcement made to the market this morning.

All shareholders registered in July 07 will be entitled to an in specie distribution of Zinc Co Shares no matter how many shares are held. This is same structure as for the UTO float.
